| Fund Management at MinervaWe offer a full Discretionary Portfolio Management Service. Clients can invest in one or more of a range of established, professionally managed portfolios. Our role is to monitor and actively manage the portfolios. We offer a number of different portfolios, which we believe cover the varying needs of most investors. Since 1990 we have been utilising our Minerva Rating system to add value to our portfolios. The Minerva Ratings are designed to measure consistency of performance and enable us to choose the most consistent fund managers in their respective sectors. The rating system analyses data from the Lipper Reuters Hindsight database using the latest modern technology. Many investors in the UK use the Minerva Rating system, and both private and institutional investors buy the New Minerva Report, published by us, to access the ratings of the top and bottom funds. The Company's three directors all hold the Investment Management Certificate and between them have over 86 years of investment experience. The choice of Portfolios that Minerva offer, and the choice of ISAs available. Why Minerva? - What is the advantage of investing with us? The best in the world! - What are you investing in? TAX FREE - Capital Gains Tax:
Unit trusts do not have to pay capital gains tax (CGT). Any capital gains made
within the portfolio are free from CGT. An investor is only liable for capital
gains tax when they sell their holding. Each individual investor has an annual
exemption from CGT. This figure is currently £10,100. This means that an
investor can sell units and take profits up to £10,100 totally tax free.
Minerva Fund Managers will work in conjunction with an investor's independent
adviser to maximise this exemption when required. If an investor does not make
use of this annual allowance, it is lost forever. |
